ACCEPT, TORONTO / A UNIQUE SITUATION TURNED INTO SOMETHING COOl

As the lights went down and Accept stepped onto the stage, it was definite that someone was missing. Wolf Hoffmann, who has played guitar in the band since 1976, took the mic to announce the news no band wants to make. Mark Tornillo, the vox of Accept, had unfortunately been told by a doctor that if he were to sing, permanent damage could be done. Not wanting to leave the crowd disappointed, Hoffmann announced that if the audience were up for helping on the vocals, the band would still happily put on a rock show worth watching. And that is exactly what they did.

Lastly but certainly not least, was NoahFinnce. The audience went wild as his intro music, the Scooby Doo theme song, started playing loudly over the PA. Ear piercing screams were heard around the room as Noah and his band made their way onto the stage, starting off the set with “Kickin Trash”.

Jumping, spinning and even purposefully falling down onto the stage, Mod Sun’s performance was no short of entertaining, not being able to take your eyes off him.

“A snowy Friday night in the city, fans of all ages excitedly lined up outside The Phoenix Concert Hall for Mod Sun’s God Save The Teen Tour. This being Mod Sun’s second time in the city in the past six months, opening for Palaye Royale back in September, fans were excited to welcome him back. As the doors opened at 7:00pm, everyone made their way inside, happy to escape the cold and ready for a fun-filled night.”

Eluveitie put on a fantastic set, this band being one you don’t want to miss. Their unique sound and incredible stage presence makes for a show you won’t forget.  

“On a brisk Thursday night, Toronto metal fans made their way down to The Opera House for a night of live music. With Seven Spires, Omnium Gatherum and Eluveitie on the bill, it was guaranteed to be a high energy show. With a dreamy atmosphere set with orb lights and a warm beige tone illuminating the stage, Echosmith broke out with their latest single Gelato, a pop-rock gem with hints of inspiration from Lorde.

“Echosmith’s The Hang Around tour rolled into Toronto, ON, on October 24th, a beautiful and sunny Monday, for their only Canadian date of the tour. As a line formed down Queen St. West outside of The Great Hall, fans excitedly awaited for the doors to open promptly at 6pm. Filing into the building, fans quickly rushed to buy some merch that lead singer Sydney Sierota hand designed herself, before claiming their spots at the front of the stage. “

The energy Palaye Royale has is like no other, the one word coming to mind when describing their stage presence, is powerful.

The marquee was lit up in purple outside of Toronto, ON newest venue, History, with the band name Palaye Royale written across it in bold letters. The Fever Dream tour rolled into Canada on September 30th, ready to give everyone the best Friday night of their lives. Excited fans queued outside for hours, ready to claim their spot at the front of the stage. 

The heavy opening riff to the title track off of their sophomore album, “Slave To The Grind” rips through the venue. With Erik Gronwall at the helm, Skid Row are better than ever.

The Live To Rock Tour featuring Winger, Warrant and Skid Row, rolls into Windsor, Ontario on July 28th, a hot and sunny Thursday. The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor is filled with rock fans as they make their way into the auditorium, ready for a night of live music.
